Every weekend at the Burke, see and even touch objects not normally on display, take part in “Best of the Burke” guided exhibit tours (every Saturday at 1 p.m.), and do hands-on activities with crafts to take home. In October, discover what makes our feathered friends “feathered.” What's in a wing? Find out more about bird wings, plumage, and the feathers that make it all possible. See beautiful specimens from the collection, and craft your own plumage ornament.
