We invite interested parents to visit the Early Childhood School at the Stroum Jewish Community Center to take a tour of our facility, experience a day in the life of a child in the classroom, meet staff and faculty and have an opportunity to ask questions.
Nationally recognized for Excellence in Early Childhood Practice with campuses on Mercer Island and in North Seattle, the Early Childhood School at the Stroum Jewish Community Center welcomes all families – Jewish and non-Jewish – with children ages 3 months to five years. We follow a Reggio-inspired and emotionally-responsive practice, encouraging children to test their theories of the world so as to develop a love of learning, a strong sense of self-reliance and a foundation for critical thinking and social well-being. Part-time and full-day options are offered on a school-year, summer and year-round basis, as are a variety of enrichment classes for kids, ages 2-5. We naturally integrate Judaism’s morals and values into our classrooms and school and we believe Judaism’s core values are truly universal.
To schedule a tour of our Seattle campus, contact Nicci Burrell, Seattle Early Childhood School Administrative Associate, at NicciB@sjcc.org or 206-526-8073.
