Kirkland's Children's Business Fair is a platform for children to share their creative acumen and launch their own business! This fair is an opportunity for children ages 6-15 to explore their passion, ideate and create a product or an artifact of their interest, gain insight into marketing their product, and a hands-on experience with their friends and family as customers during our one-day marketplace. It gives kids in our community an opportunity to spread their entrepreneurial wings in a fun and engaging way!
The event will take place in a reserved space inside Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, opposite to the indoor kids' play area in the mall. There will be signs posted.
This summer, we plan to host our 1st annual event on June 19th, 2021 from 11 am – 4 pm. We will host several young entrepreneurs and the event is free.
Kids are welcome to create a product, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers on the day of the event. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers. Applicants are encouraged to spread this word and share with their friends and family. Apply here!
