Life in the Digital Age

Calendar/Event Details

Join us for this series of thought-provoking and informative talks led by Andy Stacey, M.Ed. Andy is a lead technology coach and instructor at Bellevue High School. He received his M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in Technology Leadership from Bowling Green State University. Andy regards himself as an early millennial who has grown and adapted in a world full of change. He has seen the introduction of broadband internet and the device world we live in, however, still recollects using the rotary phone to call friends, and vividly recalls using the encyclopedia for schoolwork. Andy’s background as both a teacher and technology leader helps him provide a space for strategies, ideas and feedback for parents, students and teachers in the Bellevue School District. Andy brings his experience to help each of us understand why our children act the way they do how companies exploit both us and our children, and how as parents, we can provide safety in the digital age.
