Chinese New Year, or Lunar New Yaer, is a very important event that holds a lot of weight and meaning to Chinese, with a heavy emphasis on family, tradition, culture, and celebration of a renaissance. This party will feature really good Chinese cuisine, as well as traditional Chinese dances, music, and martial arts, and hopefully, a good memory of your family and fun to reminisce about in the future. This special event marks the third year that the Mercer Island Chinese Association hosts a celebratory event for Chinese New Year on Mercer Island. This will also be the first year in which MICA cooperates with the city of Mercer Island to host this deeply important cultural event.
