Join ParentMap and Pacific Northwest Ballet School Children’s Division for a live creative movement class taught by PNB School faculty member Deborah Kenner, with live piano accompaniment.
Students will explore dance-based movements focusing on creativity and the joy of self-expression.
The class will start with a gentle warm-up consisting of simple stretches and body movements to build self-awareness, strengthen focus and improve coordination. Spatial awareness, musicality, rhythmical timing, imagination and physical skills are introduced through fun and engaging activities.
The session is best suited for children around the age of 4, however there will be some activities that younger and older kids might enjoy.
