Teacher Steffeny Wood from Issaquah Co-op Preschool will lead the children in easy winter-themed activities for a pretend snow day! She’ll share a story, plus ideas like paper snowball fights, snow art, and building a snowman from stacking cups. Then Janelle Durham, parent educator for our toddler program and Family Inventors’ Lab, will do a brief presentation on the benefits of outdoor play and time spent in nature, plus tips for enjoying the outdoors even in a rainy Northwest winter.
