
Resilience is the ability to bounce back following adversity, Laurence Gonzales says it best, “We live on, but we also live with.” This training reviews specific skills that can foster resilience in children and looks at risk and protective factors that affect resilience. The training focuses on what adults can do to support resilience and help youth feel safe, capable and lovable.

Community Educator for Coordinated Care
Lindsey Greene is a social worker who is passionate about improving health care services for all youth, but especially those involved with the child welfare system. She joined Coordinated Care’s Community Education team five years ago to support those who work with youth through training. Prior to her current role, Lindsey served youth while working in the child welfare system in Washington State as well as Virginia, and also worked in residential treatment. She obtained her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2014. When she’s not on a Zoom training she’s most likely spending time with her partner and their 2 young daughters- ages 4 and 1.
