Bagel Trot is a self-guided walking tour of some of Seattle's best locally owned bagel shops and cafes, and a fundraiser for Recovery Café.
Starting in South Lake Union, participants will get to sample bagels from Rubinstein's Bagels, taste coffee from Caffe Vita, hear music from a New Orleans style Brass Band, and then journey along Eastlake to North Seattle. Stop along the way at: Recovery Cafe, Grand Central Cafe & Bakery, Portage Bay Grange & Feed, Westman's Bagels, Broadcast Coffee, Local Yokels, Zylberschtein's Delicatessen & Cafe, your final destination. Blue Kettle Books will be set up with their mini book mobile as well.
This year's trot is approximately 7 miles. Feel free to add stops along the way to extend your adventure.
Registration Fee: $50/adult and $25/child (2-12 yo); children 2 and younger are free to participate. Each participant will get a Bagel Trot T-shirt designed by a Recovery Café Member. Enjoy noshes or discounts at participating businesses along the route. Sign up by May 15th to guarantee a spot and pick up your shirt at the start. Sign-ups after this date can still participate but will need to pick up their shirts at a later date.
