
MLK Day of Service Volunteer Work Party at Priest Point Park, Saturday, January 19, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The City of Olympia and Stream Team are partnering to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a service project at Priest Point Park. Join us as we plant native plants and remove invasive English ivy to restore crucial forested habitats to their intended state. Dress for the weather, and wear your boots! All ages are welcome to participate. Youth under the age of 14 must have a parent/guardian present. Youth between the ages of 14-17 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian to volunteer. Waivers can be found online at olympiawa.gov/parkvolunteer.
