Celebrate Pride and our LGBTQ+ community at Northwest Trek!
See our grizzly bears and black bears enjoy rainbow popsicles, our raccoons climb to get their colorful treats and our badgers unwrap and forage through a Pride filled present. Watch animals enjoy rainbow-themed enrichments (like rainbow ice treats and rainbow fruit skewers!) all weekend long!
Throughout the park you will find colorful decorations, and a photo op banner outside our Cheney Discovery Center. Connect with our visiting partners from Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and our Northwest Trek Zookeepers Association to find ways to support your community.
The series of events that make up the Tacoma Pride Festival will take place through the month of July. Join an event and honor the community members and organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community.
