Introducing DanceABLE
In partnership with c89.5, Seattle Children’s and Not Impossible Labs, we are turbocharging our youth-centered dance party to make it rock for dancers who are deaf or hard of hearing. We will do this by providing the latest wearable technology that translates sound on the skin using haptic vibration suits.
The Museum of Flight is building off c89.5’s Dance 4 All inclusivity initiative that dance music belongs to all of us—to people of every shade, height, size and ability. In partnership with Seattle's student-powered, listener-supported dance radio station, we aim to empower people of all ages, backgrounds, identities and abilities through experiencing the uplifting power of dance.
