Laura S. Kastner, Ph.D., is a clinical associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the University of Washington and a nationally recognized expert on teen behavior and development. She is a clinical psychologist and sees couples, children and families in her practice. A mother of two children, she lectures widely on adolescence and family behavior.
Jennifer Wyatt, Ph.D.
Jennifer Wyatt, Ph.D., is a writer and mother of four children. She has taught at the college and high school levels and contributes to several parenting publications. She holds degrees in English, horticulture and landscape design and also works as a landscape designer.
In addition to their newest book, Kastner and Wyatt are the authors of The Launching Years: Strategies for Parenting from Senior Year to College Life and The Seven Year Stretch: How Families Work Together to Grow Through Adolescence.
