Wish wonder and surprise: A Waldorf Education is a phenomenological approach to teaching.
We shall learn how to let the sensory phenomena impress themselves upon us undiluted by preconceived thought. This workshop will focus on examples of how to imbue the language of the senses into the teachings of creative writing, the sciences, geography, history and the art of storytelling.
Wild Spruce, a West Seattle-based Waldorf Program, is hosting a series of Parent Workshops that will touch on various elements of the Waldorf curriculum and teaching methodology. This is designed to be a support resource, and we welcome you to come and enjoy a few hours with Ms. Jesse Hays in our new Youngstown classroom. You don't need to be a practicing Waldorf family to come, we welcome everyone to these informal sessions. Please see website for more details.
