CookieFest is bigger and better than ever this Holiday Season. Just like past years, Seattle Milk Fund and Macy’s again expect dozens of cookie-hungry shoppers outside the downtown Macy’s store early in the morning. Last year the cookie-trays were just crumbs and crumbles before 12 noon! The line starts when Macy’s doors open at 8:00 am, so get there early to get first pick. This year’s event features thousands of holiday cookies to choose from. More than twenty of Seattle’s best bakeries and culinary schools will participate and all proceeds benefit the Seattle Milk Fund (SMF). SMF works to increase economic stability for families and community by awarding childcare and education grants, empowering families to achieve self-sufficiency. Free arts and crafts activities to entertain the kiddies while CookieFest shoppers make their selections. Note: Sale takes place on the third floor in the Stewart Street Room.
