Come hear some of Seattle's best young jazz musicians as Garfield Jazz Bands I, II and III take the stage together for the first time this season. Students from across Seattle's neighborhoods from Ballard to Beacon Hill, Madison Valley to Magnolia, West Seattle to Wallingford, the Central District to Crown Hill all come together to play one toe-tapping, swinging concert of standards, blues and a Latin tune or two under the direction of the inestimable Clarence Acox, Jr. and the world-renowned trumpeter Jay Thomas. Come early for the bake sale and Vietnamese sandwiches!
