Classic children’s stories and contemporary favorites are brought to life in the Frye galleries for children and their parents or caregivers. Through stories and characters, Small Frye introduces children to a wide variety of words and sounds that will prepare them for reading and writing. Movement and play are incorporated into story time, fostering creative thinking and problem solving in an interdisciplinary environment. After story time, explore artworks and exhibitions in our galleries and enjoy kid-friendly snacks in the Frye Café. Small Frye is a free program presented the first Friday of each month from 11:15 to 11:45 am. Admission to the Frye is free and free parking is available.
