Traveling through the forested foothills of Mt. Rainier, a rider on the Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad will feel transported back in time. Listen to the locomotive's plaintive whistle echo off the surrounding hills as the train takes you to our new logging museum near the town of Mineral. At the museum, visitors will have an opportunity to view MRSR's collection of historic logging locomotives, rail cars, equipment and camp buildings before returning to the depot in Elbe. Train fare includes discounted entrance fee to the museum.
