The Seattle Public Library hosts preview lectures of Seattle Opera’s upcoming production of Donizetti’s “The Daughter of the Regiment” at several Library locations. The Daughter of the Regiment is a comedy featuring a story of two young lovers who break down social barriers between polite society and the military. The preview includes recorded musical excerpts designed to enhance the enjoyment and appreciation of the production. Library events and programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
