Introduce your child to an Hour of Code at Seattle CoderDojo's Hour of Code event.
The Hour of Code is an international program where schools and civic groups mentor children through various computer programming tutorials provided by Code.org and their partners. It's fun, energetic, and full of discovery.
**What do you need to bring?**: A parent who can stay for the program (**no drop-offs**), a wi-fi equipped laptop of relatively recent vintage (//last 5 years or so//) and a child who wants to learn.
Seattle CoderDojo is a volunteer-run civic group that offers FREE Saturday morning coding clubs for kids throughout the year (we have 38 Saturdays tentatively planned for 2015). Check our seattlecoderdojo.com site for more info.
