The Barony of Aquaterra, SCA, Inc. will open its Ursulmas Medieval Faire to the public January 28 - 29th. Witness tournaments, enjoy youth activities, delight in the shopping, and marvel at demonstrations. Held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington this annual event is a treat for one and all.
The weekend will be full of historical displays, demonstrations of everyday living in the Middle Ages, a vast Marketplace bursting with unique handmade crafts and other treasures. Come play new and interesting games, see entertainers and musicians, try your hand at archery or spear throwing, and cheer on the fighters as they engage in both armored and fencing combat. Seating in the bleachers gives a birds-eye view or Royal Court and exciting combat sports, or take in the medieval atmosphere as you enjoy the on-site beer garden.
