Join Sumner in celebrating golf and the Northwest with the 2015 U.S. Open coming to nearby Chambers Bay, the first Open in 115 years ever held in the Pacific Northwest. This festival will feature fun for the whole family, including an outdoor movie and concert with The Shy Boys; Main Street Parade featuring vintage car procession, golf teams and the Chambers Bay caddies; and putt-putt tournament for the opportunity to be Sumner’s guest at the Sunday Championship round. It's free to participate although donations recommended. Proceeds help the Friends of American Lake Veteran's Golf Course build their back nine. They are the only course in the nation specifically to serve disabled veterans.
