Founded in 1957, CWA is a coeducational independent day school in Tacoma where students discover their passions through a breadth of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom.
With an average class size of 15 and a student-to-teacher ratio of 8-to-1 or better, every child in our Lower School gets more time and attention and more individualized challenges and support. Our curriculum includes science, art, music, languages, athletics, technology, time in nature, and place-based learning led by inspiring faculty.
While our 107-acre campus is temporarily closed, all of our students are actively engaged in a robust remote learning program. We look forward to meeting you virtually to show you all that our school community has to offer.
