Discover Bastyr: The Intersection of Science and Nature
We know that looking for degree programs that speak to your passions can be daunting. There's a lot at stake and finding your direction can be difficult. That's why we've designed this event with dozens of industry experts and leaders! Discover Bastyr is an opportunity to sample the many career opportunities that Bastyr University offers in a day-long conference-style format. You'll be able to participate in hands-on activities, demonstrations, case studies, and lectures, as well as meet with faculty, advisors, financial aid specialists, alumni, current students, and more.
Discover Bastyr will take place at our campus in Kenmore, Washington and will include:
- Demonstrations; such as botanical medicine, acupuncture, nutrition and exercise science
- A variety of presentations and discussions from each department and program
- Student and Alumni panels; meet individuals living their passion
- Information tables representing each degree program at which you can speak with current faculty and students; Admissions and Financial Aid staff will be present as well
- A complimentary lunch provided by Bastyr’s award-winning dining commons
- Attendees at Discover Bastyr will be eligible for a drawing of three $1,000 entrance scholarships. You must be in attendance to win.
