Are you craving a treat to make your day a little extra special? Do you want to rebel and make dessert before dinner? Make your own pumpkin pie in a mug. Let’s stir up some fun in the kitchen together! Listen to stories as you enjoy your dessert.
Preheat oven to 350F if you'd like to eat it ASAP. Please have all of the ingredients ready to go so we can do this activity together promptly at 4pm.
Ingredients
- 2 small cookies , crushed into 2 tablespoons of crumbs (graham crackers, digestives, gingersnap cookies)
- ⅓ cup (3oz/85g) pumpkin puree
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (you can just use cinnamon or you can add combo of the below spices on hand or you can buy pumpkin pie spice at the store. I’ll use suggested spices except allspice due to what I have on hand)
- 1 generous pinch of salt
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
Pumpkin pie spice: Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ½ teaspoon ground allspice

microwavable/oven proof mug or ramekin or bowl
microwave or oven option
whisk
small mixing bowl
small bowl (cracking egg)
small ziploc bag to crush cookies or small bowl if you don’t mind using your hands and have larger pieces.
