This online class will demonstrate how to draw a peacock perched on a branch in monochrome in Madhubani style. Use some inks/watercolors/acrylic paints to add a pop of color around it.
Madhubani Painting is an ancient heritage folk art style from India and has been gaining a lot of popularity around the world during recent times, owing to its healing and meditative nature.
List of suggested supplies:
1. Paper – preferably cardstock – 8x11inch or 9x12inch
2. Pencil
3. Eraser
4. Ultra Fine Sharpie – black
5. Colors – acrylic / watercolor / inks / washable kids paints
6. Bubble wrap
7. Flat brush
8. Cup of water
9. Rag/paper towel to wipe the brush
10. Palette / paper plate
