This event will significantly and positively impact families in Skyway and West Hill Communities of South King County.
"Come for the experience and stay for the fun"
-Alesia Cannady,
Founder of Women United and The Angel of Hope Engagement Center
The event is The Love Train Community Block Party. It is a community party for everyone to “come to get on board the love train, you don’t need a ticket to ride’’ as the Love Train spreads unity throughout our community.
The event is on September 11th, 2021. From 1 pm - 4 pm.
In Skyway, WA, and will include a blocked-off street for everyone to enjoy.
The public needs to know that there was much negativity about violence and crime in the news when Alesia Cannady, Founder of Women United and The Angel of Hope Engagement Center, first moved into the Skyway community in 1998.
Having decided that she had to change those circumstances and that she needed to make a difference, she decided to provide unconditional love to the community.
She wanted to show the world that Skyway was made up of passionate neighbors with the desire to bridge generational gaps. At this event, you can get a delicious meal, dance in the street, and see people you have not seen in years.
