The Marvelous Land of Oz is the adventurous story of a boy named Tip as he travels throughout the many lands of Oz. Along the way he meets the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman, as well as many new characters –Jack Pumpkinhead, the Wooden Sawhorse, and the Amazing Gump. How they thwart the wicked plans of the witch Mombi is a tale as exciting and endearing today as when first published over eighty years ago.
Sacred Heart Playmakers is an after school drama program offered to students in second through eighth grade. The three show season gives opportunities for students to work both onstage and behind the scenes. Students will experience various disciplines of performing arts including music, dance and acting, as well as the technical aspects of theater arts. The program provides an excellent environment for learning about teamwork and strengthening self-confidence.
