The goal of the Mixed Media drop-in class is to explore different mediums and combine them to create unique works of art. We give students enough time to complete their art and embellish it with additional media such as glitter, gel pens, fabric, found objects, and other imaginative items.
As in all Thrive classes, there is no critique, commentary or competition. In this safe environment, students learn that they can follow their instincts, explore new ideas and take chances in their work without fear of criticism.
