YTN's youngest actors take the stage in this special adaptation by Executive Education Director, Kate Swenson. The Reluctant Dragon is the story of a young bookworm who befriends a heavy-metal-loving dragon. When the ultra-traditional townsfolk find out about a dragon in the neighborhood, they send for St. Georgie, a famous warrior, to rid them of the scaly outsider. But it seems neither St. G nor the dragon are really into fighting, despite their rough reputations. So these unlikely allies work up a plan to show the villagers that dragons can be upstanding members of society, and heroes don't need to battle to save the day.
