The Sammamish Symphony Orchestra, along with Cantaré Vocal Ensemble and The Liberty Singers, presents an afternoon choral spectacular featuring the premiere of Requiem in d by Alois Storch, newly transcribed by conductor and music director Adam Stern, and the beautiful Requiem in d, Op. 48 by Gabriel Fauré. Also on the program is violist Aloysia Friedmann, founder and artistic director of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, for a performance of Handel’s Viola Concerto in b, edited by Henri Casadesus.
