This 45 minute abbreviated performance of the second half of the family friendly classic is perfect for all ages and is especially well suited for families with little ballet enthusiasts who want to experience the magic of the Nutcracker but may find sitting through the full runtime a challenge!
Let our Ballet Students transport you from Clara's living room to the land of sweets in our second annual production of this classic holiday ballet.
Join us in the lobby following the show for a meet and greet with the cast while enjoying tea and sweets.

5:00 PM – The Nutcracker – Act 2 & MOVE! – MDC Showcase!
Join us at 5pm for an exciting performance featuring Sound Movement Arts Center's own youth competitive dance team, the Movement Dance Company (MDC).
Prepare to be inspired as you enjoy dance performances in a variety of genres from our MDC Students including hip hop, tap, jazz, musical theater, and more, as they debut their 2024 competition routines.
After intermission, our Ballet Students will return with an encore performance of Act 2 of the Nutcracker full of holiday cheer.
With a run time of approximately 2 hours, this versatile and fast moving show has something to keep the whole family entertained!
