About Seattle Rice Society

Seattle Rice Society was founded by Grace Chung and Agatha Campana Tutia as a direct response to the recent spike in anti-AANHPI sentiment. Both Grace and Aggie hope to celebrate AANHPI cultures through multiple avenues, including but not limited to art, food, poetry, and music.

With the support of generous partners, sponsors, and individuals, the Seattle Rice Society will attempt thoughtful education geared toward deconstructing the model minority myth, and instead, celebrate the pan-AANHPI experience.
