Spend the morning online with us delving into the positive purposes of (and problems with) technology from a Christian worldview. Our session will include breakout rooms for discussing the impact of technology on friendship and family time as well as sharing important information on parental controls. Bear Creek's Middle School Dean of Students Nathan Pettit will lead the conversation.
Intended audience: parents with children in preschool through grade 12.
Nathan Pettit is a devoted husband and father who lives in Redmond with his wife and three children. As the Middle School Dean of Students, Nathan works with the faculty, staff, and students to develop, implement, and oversee programs, events, and activities that enhance the faith, community, and character of the students.
In addition to enjoying time with his family, Nathan loves to grab a cup of coffee and read books related to theology, psychology, technology, and historical fiction. He is also an avid college basketball fan—Rock Chalk Jayhawk! He holds a B.A. Biblical Languages from Northland International University, and M.A. Biblical Studies from Northland International University, and an M.A. Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College.
