Welcome to virtual story time from the Maple Valley Library! Since we’re all safely tucked into our homes I’m bringing story time to you. Come to the Maple Valley Library Facebook Page at 10:30 on Tuesday and look for our Facebook Live video to join in the fun.
March 30: The publishers of children’s books are coming through wonderfully by giving permission to read books with children but it’s not a straightforward process. Some books can be shared but then the video of the reading must be immediately deleted. That’s the deal with one of my favorite frog stories “The Wide Mouthed Frog” by Keith Faulkner. So instead of including it in story time Tuesday and then having to delete the WHOLE Story Time immediately because of one book I’m giving this awesome book a moment all its own. So I hope you join me for a few minutes of sublime silliness as I read “The Wide Mouthed Frog” Monday, March 30 at 10:30. Ribbit!
March 31: This week we are going full story time with actual books approved by several publishers along with our songs, rhymes and silliness. One publisher is even planning on joining us with her family! We’ll be celebrating everything froggy this week so get your ribbits and hops ready and I’ll see you Tuesday, March 31 at 10:30! Remember that we’ll be meeting on the Maple Valley Library Facebook page for a Facebook Live event. It will be recorded too so don’t worry if you can’t make it on the day.
