Come As You Are
Working together to create safe spaces for mental health in our community
The topic of mental health is surrounded by stigma and judgement in our society. Sometimes, we tend to put on a smile or brave face in public even when we are struggling on the inside.
By talking openly about mental health and making it a more visible topic in our communities, we can create more safe spaces for those who are struggling with mental health to speak up in our communities.
It's okay not to be okay every day. It's okay not to be at 100% every day when showing up for school, work, or social events. Come as you are, and we'll meet you where you're at.
Join us at the Together Center in Redmond for an event celebrating youth mental health awareness.
Featured programming will include:
- A resource fair featuring our partner organizations serving youth around the community
- Project presentations from some of NAMI Eastside's Youth Ambassador team
- Workshop on how youth can get involved in mental health advocacy on a government level
- and more to come soon!
- Registration includes lunch and snacks!
