Department of Health Publishes Autism Guidebook for Washington State
The Washington State Autism Task Force, a group of parents and professionals appointed by the Governor, recently authored The Autism Guidebook for Washington State. This guidebook contains a wealth of relevant information for families, educators, medical professionals, care providers, and others who make informed decisions about the individual care of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.
The guidebook was developed under the Governor's Caring for Washington Individuals with Autism Task Force and printed through funds provided by the State Autism Implementation Grant through the Department of Health, Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) program.
OEO's Web site has a link to the Autism Guidebook under the What's New tab.
