Will you be the first one to welcome back our state bird, the American Goldfinch? Or will you be the one who finds the most nests high in the trees? April is when birds are here in their pretty spring feathers and singing in the marshes and meadows. It’s a great time for kids to go birding--parents and grandparents, too! Please arrive by 10 a.m. for an easy walk with Eastside Audubon. Rain or shine; dress for the weather. Binoculars suggested. Bring any snacks and liquids your family may need.
