During the Golden Age of animation, director and artist Charles Martin “Chuck” Jones breathed life into household names like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Pepé Le Pew, Wile E. Coyote, and the Road Runner (among others). Although he’s best known for his tenure at Warner Bros. drawing Bugs and crew, he directed some of the most popular and critically acclaimed animated television specials in the history of the medium, including Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Horton Hears a Who, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, and Mowgli’s Brothers.

In a career spanning seven decades, Jones made more than 300 animated films and won three Academy Awards as well an honorary Oscar for Lifetime Achievement.
