Power struggles in childrearing oftentimes result in a tug-of-war between the parent and the child. When children don't eat what is served or don't sleep on schedule, parents can find themselves frequently battling over daily life. In this workshop, parents will learn why these routine events are so challenging for their children. Parents will also learn strategies to help their children become better eaters and sleepers. Parent workshop instructor Jennifer Watanabe has been teaching parenting classes at Bellevue College since 1997. She also teaches Positive Discipline classes and has a private parent coaching practice.
