We're opening our new Eagle Passage bald eagle exhibit with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10am Aug. 3. Be among the first to experience the thrill and awe of these majestic birds up close in an interactive habitat.
Meet their keepers at Keeper Chats and learn the story of this noble species, saved from extinction.

Walk the Passage:
Immerse yourself in an eagle's world as you walk through the meshed habitat. You’ll see birds above and on either side, perched in branches, snags or towering evergreens – just as they would in the wild. Then crawl into a life-sized eagle “nest” or spread your arms against an eagle’s wingspan.
Explore eagle anatomy and conservation with hands-on activities like a replica eagle skull and egg.
Then make your pledge to protect wildlife at an interactive digital station. Together, we can make a difference.
A home for rescued eagles:
These eagles, unable to survive in the wild, will be cared for at the wildlife park as regal ambassadors for their species. Their new home recreates a wild forest, using existing trees and vegetation surrounded by a 30-foot mesh.
Century-old stumps, logs and branches, reused from other parts of the park, offer roosts and accessibility for these birds.
