Guided Nature Walk: Ethnobotany Hike

Calendar/Event Details

Learn how the land was shaped and used by the indigenous peoples of the Lake Washington shoreline. Then, grab a Plant Identification book and head out into the wetland to bring the plants to life with stories and uses of the local PNW flora. Bring your wetland, closed toed footwear and your open mind ready to learn! The hike is about two miles round trip, with limited change in elevation and many stops along the way.

Please register before the event by calling 206-443-2925 or visiting our website.

Arrive at 10:00 for arrival activities, then head outside for hands-on interactive learning on a walk through the wetland.  Wheelchair accessible, and a 1.5 hour walk with limited elevation gain.  Will be back at 12:00.
