The Impact of Stress and Digestion Dysfunction on our Physical Wellbeing

Calendar/Event Details

Join us for our March Monthly Meeting to hear from guest speaker Brook Reyns of Foodtrek Holistic Nutrition. She will be sharing with us about the impact of stress and digestion dysfunction on our physical wellbeing, and discussing nutritional support for stressed adrenals and more.

Brook Reyns, BS, NTP is a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and owner of FoodTrek Holistic Nutrition, LLC in Tacoma, Washington, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. She’s a practitioner of Inneractive Healing Systems, Reiki, and is a soon-to-be Holistic Medical Cannabis Practitioner. She is also a Lead Instructor for the Nutritional Therapy Association, educating students of functional nutrition in several venues across the country. Through her personal experience and that of others close to her, her practice has developed with an emphasis in digestive healing and blood sugar balance for tired moms and stressed working women – a community that’s very close to her heart.

Brook’s nutrition philosophy is one of grace and forgiveness. Meeting clients where they are, allowing them to be imperfect, and educating them in the importance of being good to themselves are key to her practice. She is passionate about addressing health through a whole foods paradigm and a bio-individual approach to wellness, not a one-size-fits-all method. She has a pragmatic and approachable style in practice and as an educator, allowing both clients and students to realize the potential of their own hard work.
