Saltstone Ceramics presents FREE RANGE, a collection of new sculptural work by Seattle based artist, Eva Funderburgh. Her delightful beasts are sculpted by hand and fired in an anagama kiln, a wood-fired pottery kiln that uses flame and ash to glaze pottery and ceramic sculpture. Funderburgh relies on the atmosphere of the kiln to color her work, after which the kiln is unloaded to reveal the beautiful firing effects.
FREE RANGE opens in person in the Saltstone Ceramics Gallery on April 1st, with online viewing starting April 2nd at 12PM PST. Visit www.saltstoneceramics.com for more information.
