Soil Building and Composting with Beth Donnellan

Calendar/Event Details

Come get the dirt on soil, worms and compost. Learn what constitutes good soil and how critters contribute to it. How difficult is composting and how much space and material does it require.

Please bring a magnifying lens if you have one. Some will be available for those who need one.

This workshop will help us learn about what makes good soil and will get every garden off to a great start.  Everyone is welcome and will benefit from Beth’s gardening experience.

The Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden is located at the Willow Creek Hatchery – Northwest corner of Edmonds Way (SR #104) and Pine street – Street parking on Pine Street. Additional information www.pilchuckaudubon.org or garden@pilchuckaudubon.org or 425-771-8165.
