Act11 presents Turn Up for a Cause, a new way to connect with good causes in our Seattle community. Join us at Optimism Brewery for a family-friendly afternoon of local music, games and entertainment supporting Climate Solutions, DESC and OneAmerica. In between sets, hear from inspiring and educational speakers and visit booths from local organizations to learn about different ways that you can get involved in the causes that speak to you. Bring the whole family to find your own unique way to make a difference.
In addition to the headlining charities, Turn Up for a Cause will feature booths and activities from other local civic organizations, with representatives on site to offer ways to get involved. These groups include the King County Young Democrats and more. There will also be a Virtual Reality installation in collaboration with VR Co-op showcasing how this emerging technology can be used for social causes, and children’s activities with activism-themed fun for the younger crowd.
