Tacoma Public Library and Tacoma Light Trail invite you to celebrate the light that is inside of all of us, by making your own star luminary in this special Tacoma Creates program! From Tacoma to Olympia, and beyond, these paper lanterns light up the city streets during the darkest time of year. Local artist Adam Martin will guide you through creating your own, as well as share the work of his organization Stars 4 Peace. Don't miss out on this special program, sponsored by the Tacoma Creates city initiative!
Kits containing all necessary supplies will be distributed at Fern Hill, Mottet, and Moore branch libraries from November 12th through November 19th, while supplies last. Register for the event in-person at the front desk, upon requesting up to two (2) event kits per household. Links to the virtual event will be sent to participant emails one hour before start time.
