Virtual Fremont Solstice Parade

Calendar/Event Details

The Fremont Solstice  Parade is officially going virtual! The Fremont Arts Council is rounding up the creative magic from the streets of Fremont in a video to be streamed on Facebook and YouTube @FremontArtsCouncil Saturday, June 20th at 1:00 pm PST, for the world to enjoy.

Thanks to the generous help of TPN, NASH, and an amazing group of sponsors, donors, and volunteers, the 2020 Virtual FSP will be a collection of videos reflecting this year's theme Past, Present & Future. The program will feature a compilation of historical parade footage and new videos. New videos are being submitted to the Fremont Arts Council by artists and ensembles nationwide during the 2020 quarantine.

Just as everyone is welcome every year to step off the curb and be in the parade, everyone is welcome to submit videos for the Virtual parade! The Fremont Arts Council has put out the call to everyone within the Seattle Community and beyond to make art, dance on their porches, model wild costumes, or simply share their favorite memories of the Fremont Solstice Parades and dream of what future parades will look like!

Submit your video June 9th by midnight! For details visit fremontartscouncil.org/submission-guidelines. Participation is open to the public. “Everyone is an artist!”
