Thought-provoking article in this morning's New York Times: Is having a best friend bad for your kid? Seems more and more, schools, teachers and camp counselors are separating BFFs at every turn, believing them to be unhealthy relationships that exlude others.
Two questions: Did you have a BFF when you were a kid? If someone had tried to come between me and Hannah Cooper, I would have run them over with my Barbie-pink banana bike.
And: Could it be....can we finally admit...that we adults are just routinely overthinking and over-engineering our kids' lives?
