Enjoy an eco-art show in a one-of-a-kind setting, Tacoma's Swan Creek Food Forest. On opening day, August 27, we invite you to take a self-guided tour of the artworks, enjoy talks by a permaculture expert, Native American healer and master gardener, and release your inner musician playing in a drum circle!

This event presents the work of 15 regional artists/teams whose environmentally-sensitive sculptures and installations interact with the landscape and highlight the critical importance of clean water, re-localized food production and sustainable habitat for humans, wildlife and salmon.

The installations will be in place August 27 to October 31.

At the entrance to the park at S. 42nd and Roosevelt, take a stroll by the open-air picnic pavilion and the flourishing Swan Creek community garden. Threading through the woods are 6-miles of well-groomed trails.

This project is made possible with support from a Make A Splash Grant/Tacoma Environmental Services, and Metro Parks Tacoma.
